Job Description

Title: Agile Systems Engineer We are seeking a highly motivated Agile Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, and sustainment of ACAT I weapon systems and system-of-systems concepts. In this role, you will apply Agile methodologies to complex systems engineering challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in a dynamic defense environment. The Agile Systems Engineer will apply Agile practices to the development, delivery, and sustainment of advanced air and missile defense systems. They will develop and review systems engineering artifacts including requirements documents, architectural models, interface diagrams, test plans, schedules, and sustainment strategies. They will support and lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) composed of government, contractor, and OEM personnel and collaborate across disciplines to prioritize parallel system requirements and ensure alignment with overarching mission objectives. The Agile Systems Engineer will analyze and resolve complex system integration issues, including performing root cause analysis to ensure optimal system performance and availability. Another important aspect of the role is to ensure risks-technical, programmatic, and schedule-related-are identified, documented, and effectively communicated. The position is transitioning from KBR corporate location at 6200 Gateway Blvd, Huntsville, AL to an on-government site location at Redstone Arsenal. The efforts will be initially undertaken in both unclassified and classified environments. Travel will be required.
