The Role

As the Senior Partnership Manager , you will play a crucial role in expanding Solution Community’s network of corporate allies. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Partnership, you will work on efforts to develop and nurture relationships with corporate entities that align with our mission and vision. In this role, you’ll lead strategic partnership initiatives, cultivate sponsorship opportunities, and create innovative collaboration models that benefit our organization and our partners.]

  • Commitment: Part-time (volunteer, pro bono role)
  • Contribution Requirements: Minimum 10-15 hours a week; minimum 3 months

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Fundraising & Business Development

  • Identify, cultivate, and secure financial partnerships with corporations and small businesses.
  • Develop and execute strategies to engage potential corporate sponsors and donors.
  • Lead outreach efforts, including cold outreach, relationship building, and proposal development.
  • Maintain and expand a pipeline of prospective corporate donors and partners.

Relationship Management & Stewardship

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners to ensure long-term engagement.
  • Develop customized partnership proposals and sponsorship packages tailored to corporate needs.
  • Ensure timely recognition and stewardship of corporate donors, including reporting on impact.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned corporate partners.

Strategic Collaboration & Growth

  • Work closely with the Director of Corporate Partnerships to align corporate fundraising efforts with the organization’s broader fundraising strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, programs) to create compelling partnership opportunities.
  • Track and report partnership outcomes, ensuring alignment with fundraising goals.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate fundraising, business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to secure financial support from corporate partners.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals.
  • Experience managing a pipeline of corporate prospects and tracking donor engagement.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Passion for Solution Community's mission and commitment to making an impact.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in nonprofit fundraising or corporate social responsibility (CSR) partnerships.
  • Knowledge of sponsorship trends and best practices.
