Location: El Segundo, CaliforniaJob Type: Contract We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Packaging Designer to join our client's creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating both 2D and 3D renderings of product packaging, developing mechanicals, and bringing innovative packaging concepts to life. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and manufacturing to ensure packaging designs align with project goals, meet regulatory standards, and reflect the brand's aesthetic.The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of design principles, print production techniques (including deco treatments like foil and Pantone usage), and experience in file preparation for suppliers. Familiarity with tools such as ESKO and TAG (for artwork upload and approval) is a strong plus.Responsibilities: 4+ years experience in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field. Proven experience as a Packaging Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative packaging designs. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Rhino or solid works, InDesign, Dimension) and other relevant design software. Strong understanding of packaging design principles, materials, and production processes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present and explain design concepts to manager. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for aesthetics. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and also independently. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work under tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Forward thinker, anticipation.
