What You Will Be Doing - Empower students to establish and achieve their personal learning objectives, fostering self-directed learning.
- Deliver targeted instruction in social-emotional skills and foundational literacy with the assistance of Reading Specialists.
- Create a classroom atmosphere that fosters curiosity and resilience through interactive, hands-on learning experiences.
- Leverage AI-driven tools to enhance educational outcomes, equipping students for a future where technology complements traditional learning.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and counselors to support each student's unique learning journey, adapting to individual needs and styles.

Elementary School Teacher Key Responsibilities Lead the development of independent learning and life skills for Kindergarten - 2nd graders, paving the way for educational success and personal growth.
Basic Requirements - Ability to work on-site at our Austin, TX campus.
- A college degree in any discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children ages 4 - 8 in educational, afterschool, sports, or related settings.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize a growth mindset and high-performance coaching strategies.
- Comfortable with and enthusiastic about integrating AI and other technologies into educational settings.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
Nice-to-have Requirements These attributes will make your application stand out, but if you meet the primary requirements, we encourage you to apply!
- A degree or certification in early learning fields (education, child development, reading intervention, etc.).
- Certifications or advanced training in early childhood methodologies like CDA, Montessori, or Reggio Emilia.
- Experience as a K-2 teacher, reading coach, or literacy specialist with formal training or professional development in reading & phonics frameworks.
- Experience in settings that emphasize personalized learning paths and educational technology.

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
