Peraton is seeking a driven Network Engineer to join our dynamic Network and Unified Communications Architecture team of network and UC engineers in Arlington, VA.
Peraton has served as the prime contractor for this program since its inception in the 1980's. We provide high-level government leaders with reliable secure voice, video, and fax communications anytime, anywhere, in any environment in support of day-to-day operations. We support a secure, worldwide, high-performance communications network comprised of real-time interactive applications allowing complex national and worldwide communications. Peraton provides the O&M of the network infrastructure and its components. We provide integration for development of hardware and software solutions, and engineering support for the delivery of system, network, software, and security solutions.
In this role, the work is hands-on and you will support the creation and review of network designs, conduct hardware evaluations in a lab, and with vendors. We are seeking a proactive candidate who will not shy away from writing a test plan or reading through vendor’s technical documents to solve a problem and write a resolution report.
The ideal candidate shall possess either a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification or a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification. Specific hands-on technical experience with Cisco collaboration tools, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)/ Cisco CallManager (CM), and Cisco Meeting Server (CMS) and Meeting Server/ VQ is highly desirable.

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
