Private Family in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Housekeeper!

• Position: Part Time Housekeeper
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday 12PM-5PM, Friday 12PM- 10PM (30 hours/week)
• Salary: $30-$40/hour depending on experience
• Start Date: ASAP- Flexible for the right fit

About the Family

A warm and welcoming family is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Private Housekeeper to care for their 5,000 sq. ft. home. This is a long-term position for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-kept household while allowing the family to enjoy their time together without the stress of household chores.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping and deep cleaning throughout the home, including upkeep of marble countertops, limestone floors, 5 bedrooms, and 4.5 bathrooms.
• Manage laundry for the family, including ironing the husband’s clothing to a high standard.
• Create and implement a cleaning schedule (weekly, monthly, and seasonal deep cleans).
• Maintain household cleanliness even when family members are present, working quietly and respectfully in the background.
• Provide occasional childcare support by supervising the children if mom needs to step out briefly (infrequent but important).
• Care for the family’s Goldendoodle, including basic pet-related tasks as needed.
• Ensure discretion and professionalism at all times.
• Remain flexible to support the family’s needs, including occasional late nights or a Saturday with advanced notice.
