Job Description

Job Title: X-Ray Technician

Duration : 13 weeks contract

Work Location:- New York, NYC

Shift timing:- Variable shifts, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week (some weekends may be required)

• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Operate X-ray equipment to produce clear and accurate imaging results.
• Position patients correctly and ensure their safety, comfort, and protection from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Maintain proper documentation and imaging records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support patient care.
• Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions, and follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Provide clear communication and instructions to patients regarding imaging procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• New York State Department of Health Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T).
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (required).
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Competency in performing diagnostic procedures in general radiography.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills.
